This Privacy Policy describes how Smart Inventory ("we", "us", or "the App"), published by Clap Technology, handles information when you use our mobile application. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Overview

Smart Inventory is designed to keep your inventory data on your device. Most features do not require an account and do not upload your inventory to our servers. Optional Premium AI features require an account and send specific images you choose to our cloud service for analysis.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

When you use the App, the following data is stored locally on your device:

This data remains on your device unless you export a backup, share content, or use a feature that explicitly sends data elsewhere (such as Premium AI).

3. Device Permissions

The App may request access to device features only when you use related functionality:

On iOS, optional Siri shortcuts may use system voice features according to your device settings. You can revoke permissions at any time in your device settings; some features may not work without them.

4. Premium AI and Account Data

If you choose to use Premium AI, we collect and process:

Premium AI images are sent to our cloud service only when you actively choose to use Premium AI. We use them to return item identification results and to enforce usage quota. We do not use Premium AI submissions to build a profile of you for advertising.

5. On-Device Vision and Voice

Standard on-device ML Kit vision and voice search processing occur on your device where supported. That processing does not upload your inventory or voice audio to our servers unless you use Premium AI or another cloud feature.

6. In-App Purchases

Purchases of Premium AI vision packs are processed by Apple or Google. We receive transaction information needed to credit your account with vision quota. We do not receive your full payment card details.

7. Backups

Backup files you create are stored where you save or share them (for example, Files, iCloud Drive, or email). You are responsible for securing backup files. We do not access backup files unless you share them with us for support purposes.

Local inventory data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Premium AI account data and related server records are retained as long as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. You may request account deletion by contacting us.

10. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
